Common to West Africa, particularly the Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Nigeria, African Mahogany is used in fine furniture, case work, architectural mouldings, millwork, musical instruments, windows, doors and much more. With beautiful figuring and lustrous coloring, designers are finding lots of creative ways to incorporate it into the kitchen, such as countertops and islands.
Hand-crafted by our artisans in the USA, we offer butcher blocks in every species we carry. We use an alternating grain pattern to increase stability as well as character and visual appeal.
