Sipo grows in the high forests of tropical east and west Africa. Sipo is easy to work with hand and machine tools and is an often used alternative to mahogany. It is easy to saw and can be planes to a beautiful finish.
Hand-crafted by our artisans in the USA, we offer butcher blocks in every species we carry. We use an alternating grain pattern to increase stability as well as character and visual appeal.
Sipo Butcher Blocks are available in 3, 6, 8 and 10’ lengths, can be purchased online and shipped to your project or home.
